Victim of fatal crash near New Rockford identifiedNEW ROCKFORD, N.D. – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released the identity of a 28-year-old man who died Sunday following a crash near New Rockford.
Anthony Deegan of Devils Lake was southbound on Highway 281 about noon Sunday when his vehicle collided head-on with a northbound semi that crossed the center line into the path of Deegan’s vehicle, the Highway Patrol said.
The semi driver, identified as Charles Seigman, 30, Jamestown, lost visibility after a semi he was following went through a snowdrift, causing snow fog, the Highway Patrol said.
Seigman was not injured, according to the Highway Patrol.
The accident remains under investigation.
