South Dakota man hurt in rollover near Hawley

HAWLEY, Minn. – A South Dakota man was trapped in his truck after a rollover accident near Hawley on Monday. Hawley is about 25 miles east of Fargo.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol:

The man was eastbound on Highway 10 in a Ford F-150 pickup when he lost control and rolled into the median at about 11:12 a.m.

Extrication crews were called to help the man out of the truck.

The man was identified as Larry Harman, 69, of Arlington, S.D. He was taken by ambulance to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo to be treated for non-life-threatening injuries. A passenger in the truck, Harman’s wife, Joyce Harman, 68, was treated for minor injuries and released from Sanford.

The roads were icy at the time of the accident.
