Here’s story from dental debacleIf I had been paying attention, I would have realized something was afoot at Allcare Dental when my appointments were postponed. I was set up for a cleaning, then a filling, then an impression session to create my final upper plate. But these appointments were called off because the filling person was not going to be in. And the cleaner and the impression person would not be in either.
I remembered, too, that when I had six upper teeth extracted, appointments were set only for Fridays because that is the only day the puller of teeth comes in. Plus the staff mentioned to one another that this company needed more dentists.
Fortunately, the remaining amount on the GE Money card that my dental package was loaded upon is simply the amount due for work that was not completed. I shan’t pay a nickel on it, of course!
I contacted the GE Money collections department and explained the Allcare Dental debacle. They are sending me a special form to label this balance in dispute.
I will seek a local dentist for the remainder of work to be done.
