Women's hockey: Vig’s third-period goal leads Cobbers to win

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Abby Vig’s goal in the third period broke a

1-1 tie and pushed Concordia College to a 2-1 victory against St. Benedict in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women’s hockey Friday.

Jenna Westerham scored Concordia’s first goal late in the first period. Tamara Twite made 12 saves for the Cobbers (7-6-1, 1-5-1 MIAC).
