Weekend Watch: J. Earl Miller receptionSaturday
Until now, J. Earl Miller was known as the really tall, tattooed guy who tended bar and booked bands at Ralph’s. That should change after folks see his photo show “Dakota Moniker” at the Spirit Room, 111 Broadway. A studied shooter, Miller turned his lens to the open roads of the Peace Garden State, shooting with a sharp eye and a sense of humor, like the image “Searching for Gozer,” seen here. The lanky photographer discusses his work at a 7 p.m. Saturday reception. (701) 237-0230.
