I-94 pileup victim gives thanks

After my dad and I were involved in the horrific accident on Interstate 94 on Dec. 30, I just wanted to send praises to the West Fargo firefighters, first responders, Cass County Sheriff’s Department and all other emergency personnel who responded.

In the moments following this pileup, the firefighters were there, parked on westbound lanes of I-94. They made endless trips from their truck, with their equipment, through the snow-filled median to help those involved. The visibility was so terrible they could hardly see each other.

They managed to help the injured, then check each vehicle to make sure everyone was OK. They risked their own lives to save others. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!
