to show off their work and reunite with each other and their teachers. “Art students and teachers establish a family, and it’s hard to see them go and lose track,” Luthi said. “It’s another way to keep track of our ‘kids.’ ” The artists submit two works of art and a biography that will be on display at the high school. “It shows the (current) students there are so many opportunities for art,” Luthi said. “They can still continue doing art whether or not they go into it.” The teachers hope to expand the Alumni Show every year and encourage alumni who had different teachers to participate. Alumni can connect through the West Fargo High School Visual Arts Alumni Facebook group.
