North Dakota Highway Patrol vehicle hit on I-29No one was injured after a Fargo man crashed into a parked North Dakota Highway Patrol squad car Wednesday afternoon.
The accident occurred on Interstate 29 near Main Avenue in Fargo.
State Trooper Lt. Bryan Niewand was parked on the shoulder of I-29 while investigating a one-vehicle rollover that had occurred earlier.
At about 2:50 p.m., Vladimir Hutanu, 56, was heading north on I-29 in the far right lane. Hutana lost control of his 1987 Volvo, and the car spun 180 degrees, crossed two lanes of traffic and struck the squad car.

Hutano was cited for care required. The crash remains under investigation.
