Slick roads contribute to two-vehicle crashFargo police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred about 3 p.m. Tuesday.
Sgt. Jeff Skuza said the crash happened at Second Avenue South and 45th Street when a southbound car on 45th Street struck a van that had passed through the stop sign on Second Avenue.
Skuza said whether the van stopped at the stop sign is still under investigation. Slippery road conditions may have been a factor in the crash, he said.
The driver of the van was injured and taken to Sanford Medical Center in Fargo by ambulance. A female passenger in the van was not injured. The man’s condition is unknown.
The female driver of the car and her passenger, a 1-year-old toddler, were not injured.
