NDDOT seeks comments on upcoming projectsThe North Dakota Department of Transportation is seeking comments on an amendment to the 2011-14 State Transportation Improvement Program for inclusion of the following previously unpublished projects in 2011.
State projects include:
- N.D. 22, Dickinson north to the county line, safety improvements, total cost $2.5 million.
- U.S. 85, Alexander north to the junction of U.S. 2, hot bituminous pavement, widening, passing/
climbing lanes, total cost $15.7 million.
- U.S. 85, Watford City west and north to Alexander, hot bituminous pavement, widening, passing/climbing lanes, total cost $18.1 million.
The public is invited to view the current program on the NDDOT website at www.dot.nd.gov by clicking on the manuals and publications icon on the left side, then clicking on the “Final STIP 2011-2014” link under the plans and reports section.
Comments should be sent no later than Dec. 31 to Steve Salwei at NDDOT, 608 E Boulevard Ave., Bismarck, ND 58505-0700, or sent via e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org with “2011 State Federal-Aid Roadway Projects” in the subject line.
