Fargo teens accused in armed robbery of pizza delivery guyFARGO – Three Fargo teenagers are accused of assaulting and robbing a pizza delivery man Wednesday in the Rose Creek neighborhood.
Sgt. Bill Ahlfeldt said the Fargo man had just made a delivery at about 7:55 p.m. in the 1300 block of East Rose Creek Parkway and was walking back to his vehicle when three armed juvenile males with weapons approached him, asked for his money and assaulted him.
The delivery man fought back, and his injuries weren’t serious, Ahlfeldt said.
The juveniles fled in a vehicle. Police later found them in the area where the robbery happened, Ahlfeldt said.
A 17-year-old boy and two 16-year-old boys were arrested on suspicion of robbery and taken to juvenile detention.
Police aren’t saying what types of weapons the robbers used. According to public comments in the dispatch log, the victim reported that the robbers had airsoft BB guns.
The juveniles didn’t get away with any money, Ahlfeldt said.
