NDSU AD Taylor says football coach Bohl not interested in Ball State job

North Dakota State athletic director Gene Taylor said Tuesday night that head football coach Craig Bohl is not interested in the head job at Ball State, a Division I Football Bowl Subdivision school.

“He called me and told me that he has no interest,” Taylor said. “I don’t know where it got started.”

Tom Dienhart, the senior national college football writer for Rivals.com, had reported Bohl was a target in the Ball State search.

Bohl led the Bison to a 9-5 record this past season. NDSU lost 38-31 to Eastern Washington on Saturday in the D-I Football Championship Subdivision quarterfinals in Cheney, Wash.
