St. Francis completes Bison football scheduleNorth Dakota State announced the completion of its 2011 football schedule with the addition of Saint Francis (Pa.) on Sept. 10 in the Fargodome.
The Bison, who just finished the 2010 season by advancing to the Football Championship Subdivision quarterfinals, will have six home games and five on the road – including the Sept. 24 game at the University of Minnesota.
St. Francis, located in Loretto, Pa., is a member of the Northeast Conference – the same league that includes other teams the Bison have played such as Central Connecticut State, Wagner and Robert Morris. St. Francis had a 1-10 record this past season.
NDSU’s home schedule starts Sept. 3 with a first-ever meeting with Patriot League member Lafayette College of Easton, Pa. – a team that had 2-9 record this past season.
