Quarterback Jensen cleared to play Saturday at Eastern WashingtonIt wasn’t a final exam, but it almost felt like one Wednesday for North Dakota State quarterback Brock Jensen. The freshman passed a concussion test and was cleared to play Saturday in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision quarterfinal game at Eastern Washington.
Jensen was injured in the first half of last week’s second round win at Montana State. He said he had a headache for much of Sunday, but that he’s felt fine since Monday.
“Those are all gone and I’m ready to go,” he said.
Jensen has been knocked around this year with a broken collarbone, a sprained right throwing shoulder and now the concussion. But nothing has knocked him out.
