Trial date set next year in Doran murder caseBRECKENRIDGE, Minn. – A trial date has been tentatively set for next Sept. 12 for a Wahpeton, N.D., man accused of second-degree intentional murder in the death of a Doran woman in 2009.
The Wilkin County District Court trial for Jeffrey Allen Silvernail is expected to take three weeks.
An all-day omnibus hearing is set for April 8.

Silvernail remains in custody in lieu of $1.5 million bail without conditions, or $1 million bail with conditions.
Silvernail was arrested this past spring in the death of Lori Roberts, 49, who was found dead in her Doran apartment Oct. 2, 2009.
Silvernail was Roberts’ live-in boyfriend until shortly before her death and was in the process of moving out of her home the week Roberts was killed, according to an incident report released by authorities.
