Moorhead man hurt when SUV goes off bridgeMOORHEAD – A Moorhead man suffered a head injury early today when the SUV he was driving went off an overpass and landed near the westbound lanes of Interstate 94, the Minnesota State Patrol said.
The 2000 Toyota 4Runner was northbound on Highway 52 when the driver lost control on the bridge deck, went off the overpass and the vehicle ended up on its side in the north ditch of I-94, the patrol said.
The driver, Scott David Allen, 50, sustained a cut on the left side of his head, the patrol said. He was wearing his seat belt.
Alcohol was involved in the accident, which was reported at 12:18 a.m., the patrol said.
