BISMARCK – A group of 47 North Dakota National Guard soldiers who spent a year in Iraq will be formally thanked during a “Freedom Salute Ceremony” at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at the Army Aviation Support Facility, 3410 Airway Ave. in Bismarck.

Among Sunday’s speakers will be Gov. John Hoeven and Maj. Gen. David Sprynczynatyk, the North Dakota Guard commander. The public is invited to attend.
