North Dakota brothers to plead guilty in traffic stop caseGRAND FORKS — Two brothers who were arrested in North Dakota during an April 15 traffic stop say they will plead guilty to federal charges.
James and Desmond Driver both are charged with possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm by an unlawful user of a controlled substance.
James Driver also is charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
Authorities say both men had outstanding warrants for failure to appear when the were arrested.
Sentencing for James Driver is set for Feb. 15. Desmond Driver faces a change of plea hearing in the coming days.
