Pedestrian killed, 3 injured in Minn. hit-and-runsROCHESTER, Minn. (AP) — Rochester police are investigating a hit-and-run that killed a man and seriously injured three other people.
Sgt. Tom Faudskar said an officer saw a car hit two men and then drove away at about 12:05 a.m. Saturday. The officer went to help, but one man died a short time later at a hospital.
Police say several minutes later, the car hit a man and a woman before the driver got out and fled. About 20 minute later, the Minnesota State Patrol arrested him. He had facial injuries.
A passenger that remained inside the car spoke with police and was released. That person had minor facial wounds.
Faudskar told Post-Bulletin that one of the men hit was critically injured, another man had serious injuries and a woman was critically injured.
