Churches, volunteers serve Thanksgiving dinners in F-M area

A brisk wind and bone-chilling temperatures weren’t enough to deter families and friends who wanted to celebrate Thanksgiving together today in Fargo-Moorhead.

Many area churches were hosting community dinners this afternoon – ensuring hundreds of people in the Fargo-Moorhead area can partake in the traditional staples of a holiday feast.

But some stayed home and had their Thanksgiving dinners delivered from the church.

The meals arrived at the hands of dozens of volunteers who carried a smile as warm as the food.
