Identity of crash victim releasedJAMESTOWN, N.D. – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified a driver who died following a rollover accident Wednesday night along Interstate 94 near Jamestown.
Timothy Robert Love, 42, of Valley City, was taken by ambulance to Jamestown Hospital, where he died.
According to the patrol:
At 6:30 p.m., Love was driving a 2000 Chevrolet SUV towing a small trailer, heading eastbound toward Valley City when he lost control of the vehicle and entered the median. The vehicle rolled and the trailer became detached.
Love was ejected from the vehicle. The driver of another eastbound vehicle, identified as 72-year-old David Horn of Williston, N.D., came upon the crash and swerved to avoid the debris, the patrol said.
That vehicle also entered the median and rolled, crossing both westbound lanes before coming to rest in the ditch north of the interstate.
Horn also was taken to Jamestown Hospital before being airlifted to Sanford Health in Fargo. His condition wasn’t available.
The crashes remain under investigation.
