College volleyball: NDSU’s Kissman named Summit’s top freshmanNorth Dakota State setter Jordan Kissman was named Summit League volleyball freshman of the year while three other Bison players earned spots on the All-Summit League teams announced Thursday.
Bison middle hitters Chrissy Knuth and Megan Lambertson were named to the All-Summit League first team and outside hitter Brynn Joki was named to the second team.
Kissman, a redshirt freshman from Centennial, Colo., averages 9.18 assists per set in her 15 starts this season.
Knuth, a junior from Brooklyn Park, Minn., leads the Bison in kills (288) and blocks (82).
Lambertson, a sophomore from Litchfield, Minn., ranks 19th nationally with a team-high .392 hitting percentage.
Joki, a sophomore from Grand Rapids, Minn., leads the Bison with 63 service aces and ranks fifth nationally averaging .61 aces per set.
