Weekend Watch: Marc de Celle and John Reimringer readings
Marc de Celle and John Reimringer offer new views on some familiar turf in new books and discuss them this weekend at Zandbroz Variety, 420 Broadway, Fargo. At 6:30 p.m. Saturday, de Celle, a recent NoDak transplant from warmer climates, reads from his nonfiction love letter to the area, “How Fargo of You.” If Mayor Walaker weren’t introducing the writer, you’d think de Celle was running for his office. St. Paul’s Reimringer uses his city as a backdrop for a fictional tale of a Catholic priest conflicted by his faith and the woman he loves, “Vestments.” The novel just made Publisher’s Weekly best of 2010 list. He reads at 2 p.m. Sunday. Both events are free. (701) 239-4729.
