Fargo police issue 41 citations at 12th Avenue blitzFARGO – Forty-one citations were issued from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday during a Fargo Police Department traffic safety blitz in the 3000 block of 12th Avenue North. Nine of the citations were seat-belt violations.
The traffic blitz, which was announced on Friday, was paid for in part by a grant from the North Dakota Department of Transportation as part of the Click It or Ticket campaign which is Nov. 11-20.
There will be another traffic safety blitz Tuesday in the 3100 block of Main Avenue. Officers will use speed violations as the reason for the traffic stop, with enforcement focusing on speed, seat-belt and child-restraint violations.
