Crash near Hatton kills 1, injures 3HATTON, N.D. – A Sauk Rapids, Minn., woman was killed and three people were injured Thursday night in a one-vehicle roll-over accident north of Hatton.
According to the North Dakota Highway Patrol, the 24-year-old driver was eastbound on Grand Forks County Road 25 about four miles west of N.D. Highway 18 northwest of Hatton about 11 p.m. Thursday when her vehicle left the road. The vehicle, a 2001 Chevrolet pickup, rolled several times and landed on the driver’s side door.
The driver and one passenger were ejected from the vehicle, police said.
The name of the driver, who was killed, is being withheld until notification of next of kin.
Those injured were transported to Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, according to police. Their condition reports were not immediately available. The injured passengers are Robert Wing, 47, Hatton; Brandon Fowlkes, 22, Hatton; and Sierra Trepanier, 22, Sauk Rapids.
The accident remains under investigation.
