Men's basketball: Mitchell, Huff tally 18 as Sioux men win opener

GRAND FORKS – Patrick Mitchell and Troy Huff each scored 18 points as the University of North Dakota men’s basketball team won its season opener Friday, defeating Waldorf 77-46.

Mitchell went 4-for-4 from 3-point range and 7-for-8 from the field.

The Sioux scored early and often, grabbing a 37-14 lead at halftime.
