UPDATED: Driver identified, charged in West Fargo rollover accidentWEST FARGO – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has determined who was driving a vehicle that rolled early today on Interstate 94 in West Fargo, injuring three women.
The patrol identified the injured parties as Elizabeth Rushton, 21, of West Fargo, Jennifer Jordan, 38, of Fargo, and Cynthia Rushton, 48, of Frazee, Minn.
In a follow-up investigation, the patrol says Jordan was the driver of the vehicle. Jordan was cited for DUI and driving under suspension.
Initial reports suspected Rushton as the driver.
All three women were ejected from the vehicle and taken by ambulance to Essentia Health in Fargo, where they were listed in stable condition Friday afternoon, hospital spokeswoman Kris Olson said.
The women were returning to the Fargo-Moorhead area from Enderlin, N.D., at about 1:40 a.m. when the vehicle went off a curve on eastbound I-94, crossed the median and the westbound lanes and hit the ditch, rolling several times.
Alcohol appears to have been a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation, Wolf said.
