Fargo man listed in 'satisfactory condition" after farming accidentFARGO - A 23-year-old Fargo man remained in satisfactory condition at Sanford Medical Center Tuesday afternoon – three days he was involved in a farming accident two miles northeast of Walcott, N.D.
The Richland County Sheriff’s Office said Ryan K. Anderson was combining corn about 4:30 p.m. Saturday when the head of the combine became plugged with corn stocks.
Anderson got out of the combine, but forgot to disengage the header to remove the corn stocks. As he was removing stocks from the header, it engaged with his right leg.
Anderson was airlifted to Sanford in Fargo with a severe injury to his leg.
