North Dakota woman to plead guilty to theftGRAND FORKS – A woman says she will plead guilty to stealing from a group on the Spirit Lake Indian Reservation.
Kimberly Carlson is charged in federal court with two counts of embezzlement and theft from an Indian tribal organization.
Authorities say the 42-year-old Carlson took gift cards, money and other property from the Spirit Lake Office of Victim Assistance. She’s also accused of misusing travel expenses.
Prosecutors have not said how much money was taken.
