North Dakota Political Notebook: North Dakota to celebrate 121st birthdayBISMARCK – With so much focus on Election Day, North Dakota’s big day was nearly overlooked this year.
The state celebrates its 121st birthday on Tuesday, a fact pointed out by Secretary of State Al Jaeger.
We’re guessing you don’t have much planned this year for a celebration. But what about the big 125? How do you think the state should celebrate its next big birthday in 2014? Send your ideas to politics@
wday.com or write me at Teri Finneman c/o Forum Communications, Press Room, State Capitol, Bismarck, ND 58505. Please include your name, town and a phone number to reach you for verification.
I’ll run some of your ideas in a future column.
