High school football: Mittleider, Carrington top Lisbon in Class 2A playoffs

LISBON, N.D. – Jordan Mittleider rushed for 112 yards as Carrington defeated Lisbon 15-8 in a North Dakota Class 2A football playoff game Saturday.

Each team committed seven turnovers in the game.

Austin Wolf scored the first touchdown for the Cardinals on a 29-yard interception return. Cole Hendrickson gave them a 15-0 lead on his 1-yard touchdown run.

Lisbon got a fourth-quarter touchdown run from Zach Peterson to cut the deficit to just seven. Peterson rushed for 94 yards in the game.
