Mock’s bombast disqualifies him

Bombast and bluster are unappealing qualities in a person. They are especially embarrassing from a candidate for public office. Corey Mock, the Democratic nominee for North Dakota secretary of state and a first-term state representative, is a case in point.

Mock has made all kinds of false and sensational charges about the incumbent, Secretary of State Al Jaeger. These attacks are all the more interesting given that Mock himself has no accomplishments whatsoever in the state Legislature.

Mock was forced to admit his lack of accomplishments during a secretary of state debate.

The job of the secretary of state is not to create “media attention” – it is to produce results. Mock could learn a thing or two from the incumbent secretary of state, Al Jaeger.
