Charges unlikely in at least two serious Fargo traffic accidentsFARGO – Charges are unlikely in at least two of the serious traffic accidents in Fargo in October, Sgt. Joe Anderson said this morning.
Reports haven’t yet been sent to the Cass County state’s attorney, but Anderson said he does not anticipate any criminal charges in the motorcycle crash Oct. 1 at Seventh Avenue and 45th Street South or the accident Oct. 8 on 13th Avenue South just west of 40th Street South that left a pedestrian dead.
In the Oct. 1 crash, a pickup driven by Christopher Dodge struck a motorcycle, seriously injuring the motorcycle rider, Nathan Hesse.
In the Oct. 8 accident, a car driven by Zachory Friesz struck and killed Marcus Bearstail.
Bearstail’s death was one of five traffic fatalities in the city in a span of three weeks.
