Galleria apartment fire investigation ongoingFargo fire investigators have ruled out that an ignitable liquid was used in the fire that destroyed the Galleria On 42nd apartment complex.
Inspector John Arens said he didn’t suspect that the fire was intentionally set, but he sent samples to the state crime lab to rule out that possibility.
The investigation into the cause is still ongoing. Arens said he plans to interview more people, including tenants.
Investigators believe the Oct. 11 fire started on a first-floor balcony in the center of the building at 3700 42nd St. S., but they don’t know the cause.
“It may just go undetermined,” Arens said.
