Topless dancing in Foxholm, N.D., in limboMINOT, N.D. (AP) — The future of an annual topless dancer event at a Foxholm bar is in limbo.
The Hunter's Den has hosted dancers the opening weekend of deer hunting season the past 15 years.
Owner Grace Delling this year approached the Ward County Commission about a permit, because the group in September denied a similar permit for potential new owners of a restaurant near Burlington after some people in the area objected.
Delling says 127 people have signed a petition in support of having the dancers in Foxholm Nov. 5-6. Opponent Marlys Fisher of Minot argues that the petition was not circulated in the community but at the bar.
The Minot Daily News says the commission is to address the matter at its Nov. 3 meeting.
