Ads in Twin Cities to promote ND tourismBISMARCK – North Dakota’s tourism director says her department is planning advertising in Minneapolis-St. Paul as part of its effort to market the state next year.
Sara Otte Coleman said ads are planned at the Twin Cities airport and at Target Field, the new home of the Minnesota Twins.
Coleman told North Dakota Public Radio that her department will spend about $2 million promoting the state in 2011 – about what it spent this year. She says more of the money next year will go toward Web advertising.
