Hunter found dead north of MorrisMORRIS, Minn. – An autopsy is planned for a missing hunter who was found dead north of here Friday night.
The Stevens County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a missing hunter in Swan Lake Township on Friday at about 7:20 p.m.
The Morris Fire Department and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources assisted the sheriff’s department in the search.
An hour after they received the report, authorities found the body of 68-year-old Kent Bank of Minneapolis.
Preliminary findings indicate that he died of a shotgun wound to the abdomen, authorities said.
