UND department chair gets national postThe chairwoman of UND's medical school’s Department of Pathology has been elected president of the National Association of Medical Examiners.
The group represents more than 1,000 forensic pathologists and death investigators.
Mary Ann Sens has headed the UND pathology department since 2002. She’s certified by the American Board of Pathology and licensed to practice medicine in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and South Carolina.
Sens also serves as the Grand Forks County coroner and is the medical examiner for Minnesota’s Marshall, Kittson, Red Lake and Mahnomen counties.
