Concordia to host China Town Hall

Concordia College will host the annual “China Town Hall: Local Connections, National Reflections” at 6:30 p.m., Monday in the Knutson Campus Center Centrum.

The event is presented by the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations

The event will feature a webcast interview with Jon M. Huntsman Jr., the U.S. ambassador to the People’s Republic of China, live from Beijing, followed by a discussion with Duncan J. McCampbell, MBA program director at Bethel University, St. Paul, and chief executive officer of McCampbell Global.

A panel discussion, “Doing Business in China,” is scheduled from 4 to 5 p.m. in the Centrum. It will be moderated by Greg Cant, dean of the Offutt School of Business, and will feature business leaders with extensive experience in China.

China Town Hall is a national day of programming involving 50 cities throughout the United States. This is the second year Concordia has been chosen as one of the locations.
