I-29 southbound traffic through Fargo shifting overnightFARGO – The North Dakota Department of Transportation announced today traffic will be shifting overnight on southbound Interstate 29 between Main Avenue and Interstate 94 in Fargo, according to a release from the state Department of Transportation.
The innermost median lane will remain closed while the two outside through lanes will be open to traffic.
“Opening these lanes will really help traffic move through this area much easier,” Kevin Gorder, NDDOT assistant district engineer, stated in the release. “The reconfiguration of lanes should be complete before morning rush hour, but people traveling through the area overnight should watch for crews and use caution.”
Crews will also be shortening the northbound lane closure. Motorists should expect delays throughout the closures as crews finish barrier work.
