High school volleyball: Rebels take 2nd at Perham Invitational

PERHAM, Minn. – Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton girls volleyball battled to the top at the Perham Invitational Saturday only to be bested by Sauk Centre losing 11-25, 14-25 in the championship match.

Mandy Mercil helped secure the top spot for the Rebels with a recorded 14 aces and 40 assists on the night.

Kaylee Pender and Abby Yliniemi tallied up a total of 38 kills. Pender with 21, Yliniemi had 17.
