Sincere thanks to Oak Grove

I would like to thank Oak Grove Lutheran School for hosting the Camp Invention program. At a time when America is facing a critical talent gap in the STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and math), the Camp Invention curriculum is designed to inspire our future scientists and inventors through hands-on exploration and problem-solving.

Ninety-six area elementary students joined over 66,000 students nationwide in honing 21st-century learning skills, such as teamwork, critical thinking skills, and creativity at the Camp Invention program this summer. I especially want to thank Camp Director Haley Klefstad, her talented local teaching staff and the creative students in Fargo for their outstanding work.

Clarke is regional coordinator

for Camp Invention.
