Two years for knife-point robbery, assaultA 27-year-old from Moorhead was sentenced to two years in prison after pleading guilty to robbery and assault charges Monday in Cass County District Court.
Victor Caesar Garcia was charged with two counts of robbery, but one of those charges was amended to aggravated assault.
Garcia was given a two-year stint in state prison, minus 252 days for time he has already served in jail.
The charges stem from a pair of incidents on April 17 in which he held a man at knife point and asked for his wallet. In one case, the victim gave Garcia his cell phone and wallet.
