Deen was sentenced to a one-year term with all but five days suspended, but he can do 50 hours of volunteer work instead of jail time, Johnson Martinez said. He has credit for one day already served and will be on supervised probation for 1½ years, she said.
He is the 11th person in the case to plead guilty, with the final defendant set to enter a guilty plea Oct. 4.
