Lindsay Lohan back in court after failed drug test

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Lindsay Lohan has arrived at a Beverly Hills courthouse to face a judge for the first time since acknowledging she failed a drug test.

The "Mean Girls" star faces a possible return to jail, but court and law enforcement officials say they do not know how Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden Fox will rule.

Lohan spent 14 days in jail and 23 days at inpatient rehab earlier this summer after a previous judge determined she violated her probation by missing court-ordered alcohol education classes. Both stints were considerably shorter than the 90-day sentences Lohan received.

A return to rehab is also possible for the 24-year-old actress, who said on her Twitter feed last week that she is struggling with addiction.
