I-29 work to continue until mid-OctoberMotorists on Interstate 29 should continue to expect delays over the next several weeks as crews continue work on bridges along a half-mile stretch of I-29 between I-94 and Main Avenue in Fargo.
Northbound and southbound lanes will be affected as crews raise and repair concrete panels on the transitions between the roadway and bridge decks at 17th, 13th and Ninth avenues and the Texas turn.
Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed early to mid-October. Motorists will be required to make lane shifts due to multiple ramp merges in this stretch of I-29. Speed limits will be reduced to 35 mph.
Also, over the next few weeks, motorists traveling on I-94 west of Fargo should expect minor delays on the crossroads at the Kindred, Wheatland and Raymond interchanges as similar work takes place at these structures.
