Best Buy theft ring defendant pleads guiltyFARGO – Another defendant in the Best Buy theft ring pleaded guilty today.
Daniel Jerome Offerman Jr. pleaded guilty to theft of property, a class C felony.
He was sentenced to 60 days in jail and 18 months of probation. Restitution is yet to be determined.
Twelve men were accused in Cass County District Court of taking an estimated $150,000 in merchandise from the Fargo Best Buy store. Prosecutors say the men worked with two store security guards to push carts of stolen goods out of the store.
