Expand your livestock knowledge at NDSU event

Do you wonder how milk gets to your table, how many sweaters can be made from the wool of one sheep or how a horse can sleep standing up?

Learn the answers to those questions and many others at “Moos, Ewes and More!,” an event North Dakota State University’s Animal Sciences Department is hosting from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the North Dakota Horse Park, 5180 19th Ave. N., Fargo.

Participants can meet the animals that call NDSU home, the farm managers who care for them and the faculty and staff who teach and do research in the Animal Sciences Department.

Interactive and hands-on agriculture and animal demonstrations, and BBQ Boot Camp samples and dairy product treats will be available.

This program for the family is free of charge.
