Free prostate cancer screening availableFree prostate cancer screenings will be available Sept. 21 and 28 at the Sanford Roger Maris Cancer Center, 820 4th St. N., Fargo.
The screening involves two steps. Prostate-specific antigen blood tests will be taken from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 21. Patients will return to meet with a urologist to receive an exam and discuss their blood tests from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 28.
Those eligible for a free screening include:
- Men ages 50 to 75 who have never been screened or have not had a PSA test drawn in more than a year.
- Men ages 40 and older with a history of prostate cancer.
- African-American men ages 40 and older.
