Milk-truck accident injures driver

A truck rollover left hundreds of gallons of milk in the ditch Tuesday night near Pelican Rapids, Minn.

According to the State Patrol, the accident occurred about 6:30 p.m. on Highway 108, about 3½ miles east of Pelican Rapids.

The driver of a tractor hauling a 6,500-gallon milk tanker appeared to have lost control going around a corner, the State Patrol said.

The driver was taken by ambulance to Lake Region Hospital in Fergus Falls, Minn., with non-life-threatening injuries.

The milk truck was the only vehicle involved in the accident.

The State Patrol did not release the name of the driver.
